Phil Jones Bass is excited to announce that Wayne Brewer, bassist for the chart-topping American-roots music group Gary Brewer & the Kentucky Ramblers, has teamed up with PJB as an endorsing artist.

In addition to anchoring the low end for the band, Wayne is the CEO and co-founder of Brewgrass Entertainment, which is responsible for managing the band as well as overseeing SGM Records and Brewgrass Entertainment Studios. Deeply-rooted in musical heritage, Brewer is a 6th generation musician and long-time member of his family band. He has also achieved individual critical praise as an award-winning producer, vocalist, bassist, and fiddle player. The band’s most recent album release, a 40th Anniversary Celebration, charted on Billboard at number one for sixteen weeks.

Wayne has chosen PJB’s BG-400 Suitcase Compact, Compact 4 (C-4) cabinet, and PJB’s Earbox Monitor as his stage rig. In addition, he has selected the PE-5 pedal for the ease of switching between his electric and upright basses. It is a 5 Band EQ, preamp, Direct Box, and Signal booster which is engineered to match exactly both magnetic and piezo pickups. The X4 Nanobass with Bluetooth will accompany Wayne on the band’s tour bus so he is always ready for a spontaneous jam with his bass or violin.

About his new gear Wayne says, “Because of their sonically enhanced technology, ability to cut through a mix without sacrificing full tone, reliability and compact size while on the road as a full-time touring musician, I prefer Phil Jones Bass systems.”
