Phil Jones Bass is pleased to announce the addition of Kirby Barber to its respected list of artist endorsees. Kirby was a 2nd place winner of the Solo Bass Contest held in January at NAMM which PJB hosted. Originally from British Columbia, Kirby now resides in Nashville. She has been the recipient of the Bass player of the year award at the BC Country Music Association multiple times and was a CCMA (Canadian Country Music Awards) Bass player of the year nominee in 2018/2019. She has also received a Juno nomination as a member of the Bluegrass band The High Bar Gang.
Kirby is currently performing with artists that include Heidi Newfield of Grammy nominated group Trick Pony, Canadian country artist Aaron Pritchett (with a recent #1 single in Canada), Presley & Taylor, Raquel Cole, as well as freelancing and recording with many others artists in the USA and Canada.
